  • cbb-software is a new member in the FVV. The FVV (Research Association for Combustion Engines) is a unique worldwide network for engine and turbomachinery research – with more than 50 years’ experience. The FVV promotes cooperative pre-competition research by bringing together industry experts and scientists. One special concern is the advancement of young scientists.
  • The main goal is the continuous improvement of the efficiency ratios and emissions of engines and turbines – for the benefit of the economy, the environment and society in general. The members are small, mid-sized and large companies of the manufacturing industry: automobile, engine and turbine manufacturers and their suppliers.
  • cbb-software supplies tools for test and development, as well as software for motor function control to the development departments of the automobile industry.

The winner is the person who can catch as many animal figures with the infrared camera. The screen at start/finish immediately shows the hit rate and the winner of the day.
  • A look behind the scenes of the safari ride would be just as exciting because as always, the art of a great illusion lies in the techno-logical detail behind. In order to make the photo safari as authentic as possible, the cbb engineers have customized the entire automation technology and have adapted it made to measure on site – from the tiny infrared receiver in the tiger skin to the powerful high-power computer in the control centre.
  • Just as for the Space-Scooter LapMap® is the heart of the installation with a flexible data infrastructure for the construction of complex IT-systems. A cbb product which also in the automobile industry connects widely distributed data and systems and guarantees drivers all over the world a daily pleasure in high-tech quality – also when they are not on safari.

  • Training and Simulation System for Supervisory and Protection Technology in Ghana
  • Together with the university KNUST in Kumasi, Ghana, SAG IDS and cbb business ltd. are installing a supervision and protection technology system at the university campus. The main aim is the implementation of a training system for the professional education and improvement in the field of state-of-the-art supervisory control systems. For this purpose, the supervisory and protection system will be connected to the main 22kV-switchgear of the local energy provider ECG. ECG enables the upgrade works at the switchgear and provides own experts for the execution of the installation works. With this example of a modernized energy distribution network at the campus, a clear demonstration of the reliability of modern energy systems is given by practice-oriented simulation training in combination with SCADA systems. The educated personnel will learn to visualize, control and monitor the status of all modernized network components at all times through the use of this technology. The systems will be installed by end of 2006.
