The increasing complexity of the test bench technology requires new ways in driver’s aid technology.
The newly developed driver’s aid has an ergonomical human-machine interface and can be realized as stand-alone unit as well as an integrated component in an overall automation structure.
ErgoDrive® Professional represents a very important human-machine interface for road simulation on the roller test bench. Just like in a real driving situation on the road, the test driver here is also integrated in the driving process as a controller via the visual feedback of the driver´s aid.
For standard applications in exhaust emission certification as well as for new areas of application such as gear and brake optimization, the driver´s aid has been adapted to the test task and the test driver to the best possible extent with a view to ergonomics and space perception. Thus the driver can carry out his tasks over long periods of time in a concentrated and at the same time relaxed way and with a high degree of work satisfaction. The driver´s aid was extended by important operating- and visualisation functionalities but also contains all standard functionalities and interfaces.
With the GPS recorder of ErgoDrive® Professional you can train your drivers aid. For the first time, now it is possible to bring real road and environmental data into the drivers aid and to get closer than ever to reality.
